Joseph Gary Brooker, 64, died Monday, October 13, 2008 in Savannah.

Mr. Brooker, a native of Savannah was born on December 18, 1943, the son of the late Joe and Sarah Brooker. Gary was raised in the Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church. He was taught the trade of welding by his father which he practiced at the Thunderbolt Marina and Great Dane Trailers where he retired.

Mr. Brooker is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Osborne and husband Anthony of Junction City, KS; granddaughter, Amber Osborne; grandsons, Aaron and Anthony Osborne, Jr.; sister, Marie Parrish of Savannah; nephew, Lee Crosby and niece, Marie Crosby.

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Thursday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with Dr. Hugo Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at the Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
